Field Trips in Kansas City

History In and Out of the Classroom

History Field Trips Tailored to Your Needs

Each year, hundreds of students from across Kansas City participate in immersive field trips with the Wornall/Majors House Museums. We offer both on-site and to-go field trip options, bringing our experience directly to your location. From Civil War history and the legacy of enslavement in Jackson County to guided house tours and hands-on activities, WMHM customizes field trips for students of all grade levels.

About Field Trips

Field trips at Wornall/Majors House Museums offer customizable experiences, with our staff collaborating closely with teachers to create meaningful visits for students. Whether you have a specific content area to cover, a state standard to meet, or prefer the museum to handle most of the planning, WMHM is here to assist.
