Docents (Tour Guides)

Docents lead guided tours and facilitate self-guided tours, working an average of 2 shifts per month, 2 to 3 hours per shift.

Events & Field Trip Volunteers

Event volunteers help with field trips, educational programs, and fundraising events. Duties may include setup/tear down, assisting with check-in, selling raffle tickets, and more.

Junior Volunteers

Children ages 6 to 12 can dress up in period costumes during events, and teens 13 and over can train as junior docents. These are fun ways to fulfill school/club service requirements.

One-Time or Special Project Volunteers

Periodically, we need help accomplishing special projects, like ground maintenance, painting, and more. Let us know if you have special skills you’re willing to share!

Corporate or Organizational Volunteer Opportunities

We enjoy welcoming companies and organizations to our sites for group volunteer activities. Typical opportunities include gardening, spring cleaning, or supplies organization.
