Delve deeper in the history of the John Wornall House and Alexander Majors House Museums with a dedicated guide. Your guide will walk you through each room of the museum relating the stories of the people, objects, and Kansas City area.

About Private Tours

Make the museums your own for an hour by booking a private tour online at the site of your choice. With a minimum of two weeks’ notice, we’ll organize guides—adding more for groups larger than 15—so everyone can move comfortably through the rooms during your tour.

What to Know Before You Go

Groups typically spend an hour with their guides. However, if your group has a lot of questions (we love that) the tour will last longer. You are welcome to spend more time self-guiding through the museum after your visit.
Groups of 10 or fewer: $50

Groups of 10 or more: $5 per person
If your total cost is $100 or more, a 50% deposit is required when making your reservation in order to hold your date. Full payment is due on the date of your tour. We can accept checks, cash, and credit cards.

Tours are typically scheduled during the museums’ open hours. However, we may be able to accommodate requests outside those times if a guide is available.
