The Alexander Majors House Museum is available for paranormal investigations on an hourly rental basis. You can conduct your own investigation or we can set you up with an investigator to help guide your time. We also offer audio-guided ghost tours for a more guided experience.
Paranormal Investigations
Investigations can be booked between 4 p.m. and 1 a.m. with at least three weeks’ notice. The cost is $75 per hour with a two-hour minimum. The down payment is 50 percent to hold your date, with full payment due two weeks prior to the event.
Groups are limited to 10 or fewer without prior approval.
We have contacts with several professional investigators. If you want to experience a paranormal investigation yourself, but need someone to lead your investigation, we will provide an investigator who can bring ghost-hunting tools, teach you how to utilize them, and guide you through an investigation of your own. There is an additional $50 fee which pays the investigator.
Deposits will be refunded in full if the cancellation notice is received two weeks prior to the event. No refunds are issued for cancellations received less than two weeks prior to the event.
Please note Wornall/Majors are not paranormal investigators. We cannot help with the paranormal outside of renting the Majors’ House.
Audio Guided Ghost Tour
Participate in a private Ghost Tour of the Alexander Majors House and hear all about the strange events and ghosts who are said to haunt the rooms of this historic house. We will open up the house at night just for you and your party! This is the perfect outing for a birthday, family fun night, or girls’ night out. Ghost Tours last approximately one hour. These tours are audio-guided tours, assisted by a staff member.
Cost
$150 for 15 or fewer people.
For groups larger than 15, add an additional $15 per person.
Maximum group size: 30
