Six Free Events
Drop-in History events are designed for busy schedules: arrive anytime, engage as long as you like, leave with new knowledge. In honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Wornall/Majors House Museums is exploring Missouri’s role in U.S. history through six free drop-in events. Each tackles a new history topic through storytelling, hands-on activities, and lively conversations at two of the city’s most iconic historic house museums.
Designed to remove barriers to experiencing history, these free or low-cost events are scheduled on evenings, weekends, and federal holidays. Whether you have thirty minutes or a couple of hours, drop in, discover something new, and connect with local history in a welcoming, informal environment.
These events are possible with funding from the Missouri Humanities Council.
