Victorian Christmas Traditions: A Drop-In History Event
December 12 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Step into Victorian Christmas at the John Wornall House Museum (1858), where the warmth and charm of the 1800s come alive! During the Victorian era, the Christmas tree became the heart of holiday celebrations, often adorned with twinkling candles that lit up the festive season. But that’s just the beginning! From the very first Christmas cards to the tradition of gift-giving, many of the customs we hold dear today have their roots in the Victorian era.
As you explore each room of the museum, you’ll be transported back in time, where every space features a different beloved tradition. Each ticket includes a warm drink and cookie.
