Story time in the Barn

Educational exploration for preschoolers will take place on the fourth Saturday of each month at the historic Alexander Majors Barn. Based on a storybook, preschoolers will enjoy themed activities and crafts designed to help them develop essential skills. Barn days are perfect for toddlers up through preschoolers.

Barn days are $5 per student. An adult helper is requested to stay with each child to ensure they get the most out of the activities.

A Green, Green Garden by Mercer Mayer*

The familiar children’s book character Little Critter will lead preschoolers on a garden-themed journey. Students will have the opportunity to do gardening of their own in the John Wornall House kitchen garden. They will also learn about the growth cycle of plants.
