Decades of Death

Halloween doesn’t have to be all ghouls and ghosts when there is plenty of grim history to go around. Victorians dealt with death every day. This Halloween, Wornall/Majors is exploring the dark but truthful side of the holiday. Our guided tour of the John Wornall House includes booze, death charades, and a spooky performance by the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival’s Team Shakespeare. Prepare to be scared – by what it was like to live on the U.S. frontier.

Tours leave every 15 minutes.

Cost: $20 general admission/$15 members, includes one cocktail or mocktail – must provide date of birth when registering. IDs will be checked at random.

Member tickets go on sale August 14. Tickets open to the general public on September 1.
